Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Social Ready platform, operated by Social Ready Ltd(“Social Ready”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Who can use Social Ready

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation (for example as a housing provider or letting business), you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login details secure. Please give accurate, up-to-date information and let us know if anything changes. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.

3. What Social Ready does

Social Ready is a marketplace that connects landlords with vetted supported-living and social-housing providers, and helps facilitate the process from listing to agreement. Social Ready is not a party to any tenancy or agreement between a landlord and a provider, is not an estate agent, and does not provide legal, financial or tax advice. Any agreement is entered into directly between the landlord and the provider.

4. Listings and offers

• Landlords are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for holding the necessary permissions, safety certificates and legal right to let the property.
• Providers are responsible for the offers they make and for their own regulatory registration and compliance.
• We may review, curate, decline or remove listings and offers, and may forward offers with our commentary, but we do not guarantee any match, offer, viewing or deal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform. In particular, you must not:

• provide false, misleading or fraudulent information;
• use the platform for anything unlawful or to harass or harm others;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or scrape or copy data; or
• circumvent our processes to avoid legitimate obligations.

6. Fees

Creating an account and using the core platform is currently free. If we introduce any charges, we will tell you clearly before they apply.

7. Our content and yours

The Social Ready name, branding and platform are owned by us. You keep ownership of the content you upload (such as property details and photos) and grant us the licence needed to display and process it in order to provide the service.

8. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep the platform available and accurate, but provide it “as is” and cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information provided by other users is accurate. You are responsible for carrying out your own checks before entering into any agreement.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Social Ready is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from agreements, dealings or disputes between landlords and providers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

10. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users or the platform.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
